[photogallerylink id=66451 align=left] I’m getting word out of Haiti that friend of 102.5 KSFM singer/rapper and former Haitian presidential candidate [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Wyclef Jean[/lastfm] was shot in the island nation near Port-Au-Prince.

Hip-hop singer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Wyclef Jean [/lastfm]says he was grazed by a bullet in the hand when he stepped out of his car in Haiti to make a phone call.

The Haitian-American performer tells The Associated Press he had just left the car Saturday night in the Haitian capitla of Port-Au-Prince when he heard gunfire. Jean says the next thing he noticed, there was blood on his shirt and sneakers.

He says a doctor treated him at a hospital and he is taking antibiotics.
