Status Goes built a name for himself after releasing 2 mixtapes his first year. Both were well received locally and he got great feedback from friends.

Since 2009, working with his self-created local buzz and momentum, Status Goes has constantly released new music. Status Goes released a song about his ex-girlfriend called “Lately”. “Lately” was the song would push his career to the next level receiving over 2,500 plays a day and totaling over 200,000 plays to this day from Myspace!

Status Goes has since parlayed that success by dropping multiple exclusive mixtapes. Promoters are taking notice and are beginning to book Status Goes as a headliner regionally. With his recently popularity, he has started a “#MAClife Movement” of followers. Status Goes now performs at least 4 shows a month in Nor Cal. With mixtapes on multiple blogs, and multiple CDs on iTunes, Status Goes fan base is constantly growing. Regionally well-known in the hip hop scene, Status Goes is beginning to establish himself all over California. Hopefully soon he will be able to remove the “local” from his self-proclaimed “local celebrity” status.
