It’s been less than a month since [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Scotty McCreery[/lastfm] was crowned American Idol, but already the search is on for the next one.

American Idol Is holding auditions for Season 11…starting late this month!

American Idol will open Season 11 auditions June 28 in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center, followed by visits to Portland, Ore., (July 2, Rose Garden); San Diego (July 8, Petco Park); Pittsburgh (July 15, Heinz Field); Charleston, S.C., (July 22, North Charleston Coliseum); Denver (July 29, Invesco Field at Mile High); and Houston (Aug. 26, Reliant Park).

Auditions for the Fox TV singing competition are open to men and women between 15 and 28, scheduled to be judged by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jennifer Lopez[/lastfm], Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
