I’m not surprised that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Katy Perry[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Adele[/lastfm] were most nominated (‘Rolling In The Deep’ was one of my favorites from this past year) but I had totally forgotten that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kanye West[/lastfm] had a brilliant contender with ‘All Of The Lights’.

AN OVERVIEW
A controversy of sorts has already unfolded on the upcoming VMAs – [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm] wasn’t nominated for Video of The Year or Best Pop Video, though she made it into Best Female Video. What do I think of that? I think Gaga is definitely among the most talented performers today, but it just wasn’t Gaga’s year. My favorite videos from her are “Pokerface” and “Bad Romance” so compared to those, “Edge of Glory” and even “Judas” just didn’t do it for me. Just being honest and I think most Gaga fans would agree.
