It was the “Two and a Half Men” season debut lastnight which showed The death of Charlie Sheen’s character Harper and the emergence of Ashton Kutcher. So how did it do?

It was one of the biggest nights in history. Over 27 million Americans tuned in Monday night to watch CBS’s re launch of the great show that has always enjoyed success but never to this extent. Obviously all of the publicity surrounding Charlie Sheen’s very public dispute with the dreators and Warner Brothers contributed to those numbers.

Charlie Sheen said he loved the debut although watching his funeral on TV was eerie. Sheen just recently setteled with Warner Brothers on a multi-million dollar deal that will pay him 20 million up front and over 100 million in syndication money over the next 7-10 years.
