“It Was a Good Day” is a 1993 hit single by rapper/actor [mp3com-artist]Ice Cube[/mp3com-artist] from his third solo album, The Predator.(1993) It is the second single from the album and it peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. It was ranked  #77 on VH1′s 100 Greatest Songs of the 90s. In 2008, it was ranked number 28 on VH1′s 100 greatest songs of hip hop.
