Cannon’s Countdown: Top 30 Pop Tracks For The Week Of Oct. 9th, 2011

Our friend Nick Cannon just rolled out the latest episode of Cannon’s Countdown, and we’re airing it here! Check back each weekend for the countdown in full and be sure to check out his site for daily updates on everything you need to know.

It’s that time ya’ll! Time to forget about that long work-week and let Mister Showbiz Nick Cannon do the work for you!

30. Katy Perry feat. Kanye West  “E.T.”

Katy and Kanye have been on the countdown since April, which officially makes it the longest reigning song EVER on Cannon’s Countdown. So sad to see you go Katy, but it’s been a fun ride in space!

29. Lady Gaga – The Edge of Glory

At a recent performance Lady Gaga showed her Mother Monster claws, when she sang one of her songs in tribute to a fan who committed suicide due to bullying. Gaga is truly an inspiration, especially since she’s had talks with President Obama to help stop bullying. Put those paws up Little Monsters!

28.  Kelly Clarkson – Mr. Know It All

Miss Clarkson made her appearance on the countdown last week as the Cannon’s Countdown Download of the Week. She’s doin it big with her debut at twenty-eight!

27.  Black Eyed Peas – Just Can’t Get Enough

The Black Eyed Peas are performing alongside Christina Aguilera, Ne-Yo, Cee-Lo Green and others for the Michael Jackson tribute later this year. Catch ’em while you can, because you never know if they are going to be retiring or not! Let’s hope not, because we just can’t get enough of them!

26. Afrojack/Eva Simons – Take Over Control

This club banger is still rockin’ the countdown! Falling a bit, but that’s okay because it’s bringing the heat!

25. LMFAO – Sexy And I Know It

LMFAO ‘s all about bringing the sexy back with this joint. In fact, since I’ve had the chance to get to know RedFoo and SkyBlu, I know they PRIDE themselves in always havin the sexy…but do you really need to let your junk fly around like that guys!?!

24. Iyaz/Travie McCoy – Pretty Girls

Iyaz and Travie McCoy continued their slide down the countdown this week. Maybe you’ll rebound next week Iyaz!

23. Adele – Rolling In The Deep
Adele’s rolling in the deep, since her album “21” has officially sold a massive ten million albums. That’s insane for an artist nowadays! Keep hustling Adele!

22. DJ Khaled/Drake/Rick Ross/Lil Wayne – I’m On One

DJ Khaled is most definitely not on this one, but I love this track anyways…

21. Jason Derulo – It Girl

Jason Derulo revealed that he only gets four hours a sleep a night, which in my world that’s a vacation! He’s a hustler and you can’t put a man down for that. Make sure you get a copy of his new album “FutureHistory” on iTunes, Amazon, or anywhere else you can cop it!

20. Hot Chelle Rae – Tonight Tonight

Staying in the top twenty this week with their current smash, Hot Chelle Rae also has a new joint with my group The New Boyz. Take a listen to I Like It Like That:

19. OneRepublic – Good Life

OneRepublic made a slip this week down to nineteen, but that’s ok! They’re still livin that good life!

18.  Pitbull/Ne-Yo – Give Me Everything
Pitbull’s hitting up a cruise ship called Club 305 next April. With a name like that, and the talent that it has, you KNOW it’s going to be a banging cruise.

17. Alexandra Stan – Mr. Saxobeat
Alexandra Stan climbed up three spots this week. Must be that saxophone sexiness…you just can’t get enough of it!

16. Lil Wayne – How To Love

Lil Wayne spit a remix to Joe Jonas’ new single Just In Love, and it’s on fire! Guess he’s getting a bit soft on us…okay maybe not!

15. David Guetta/Usher – Without You

Usher’s hooked up with his protégé Justin Beiber for Beib’s Christmas album. Boyz II Men, Taylor Swift, Sean Kingston and so many others will be featured on it as well…maybe a little M.C. If you don’t know what that means, you’ll find out eventually!

14. Kelly Rowland/Lil Wayne – Motivation

Kelly Rowland and Weezy kept that motivation in the bedroom! Girl just keeps on goin! Energizer bunny, watch out!

13. Dev – In the Dark

Dev and Demi Lovato have a song out, and it’s called Who’s That Boy. Take a listen and while you’re at it, get a double dose of Dev with her climbing to thirteen this week..In The Dark!

12. Adele – Someone Like You

Adele debuted her music video last week, and it’s showing the soft side..and the dark side! Lighten up Adele, you’re making me all sad over here!

11. Lady Gaga – You And I
Mother Monster/Joe Calderone/Merfish/Lady Gaga is all about releasing more and more music! Her new album is already IN the works, but from what I hear it won’t be out for another couple of years! Here’s her current single just missing the top ten, You and I.

10. Katy Perry – Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)

Simon Cowell is throwing disses at Lady Gaga, Katy Perry AND Beyonce for saying that the only reason they are popular is because they love to show their cleavage!
I’d check your wardrobe Simon! With those shirts, you’re showin some cleavage too.

Katy’s stayin in the top ten this week, almost slipping out at number ten (and yes the pun was intended)

9. Cobra Starship/Sabi – You Make Me Feel…
Jumping into the top ten this week to number nine was Cobra Starship with that “La la la la la!” You Make Me Feel

8. Britney Spears – I Wanna Go

Britney’s paying her daddy a pretty penny to help maintain her career. If you remember, he’s the one who put her in line, and now he’s managing her Femme Fatale tour! So because of that, he’s rackin in the millions! Dropping just a bit here’s that catchy ass whistling Britney, I Wanna Go.

7.  Foster The People – Pumped Up Kicks

Not only is Drake performing at SNL this month, but so is this next group, Foster The People. Set your TiVo’s, SNL is goin all out!

6. Rihanna – Cheers (Drink To That)
There’s a rumored RiRi sex tape out there with J Cole…which hey, if it’s out there then his career is about to get a bit more interesting! Rihanna almost made the top five this week. So close RiRi!

5. LMFAO – Party Rock Anthem

LMFAO is kicking it, or should I say SHUFFLING it at number five with their MASSIVE hit. Check out the views on Youtube of this video..insane!

4.  Nicki Minaj – Super Bass

Nicki has a new fan out there…and she’s only eight years old! Take a look at the new viral video star Sophia Grace:

3.  Gym Class Heroes/Adam Levine – Stereo Hearts
They’ve climbed into the top three, and there’s no sign of slowing down..

2. Bad Meets Evil/Bruno Mars – Lighters

Eminem’s making big moves with his Shady Records, and now that Bad Meets Evil is off to a great start, D12 is ready to make a comeback! Look for that later on next year, but for now here’s Lighters dropping from the top spot this week to number two!

1. Maroon 5/Christina Aguilera – Moves Like Jagger

Which means there’s a brand new number one, and it’s all because of the whistle (or so I like to believe)! This is Adam Levine’s second song in the top three! The Voice is killin it with this one: Christina Aguilera and Maroon Five with those Moves Like Jagger.
