Earlier today it was widely reported that Mariah Yeater, the 20 year old girl that is claiming [lastfm link_type=""]Justin Bieber[/lastfm] is the father of her baby boy, and her lawyers dropped the case, but apparently they are still moving forward with it!

One of Yeater’s lawyer’s said they are hoping to negotiate out of court with the singer’s legal team. She even got herself a new lawyer, Jeffrey Leving, a Chicago paternity lawyer. He says he is still working to negotiate a private DNA test to determine whether Bieber is the father.

Reports said that the original lawsuit may still be active but Yeater has switched attorneys in California, and he will not allow her to speak to the press.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber’s team isn’t backing down either. Bieber’s publicist, Matthew Hiltzik said, “We intend to still hold them accountable.”
