Snooki and Jwoww have a spin off show on MTV. However, the New Jersey town that they requested a permit to shoot in rejected their request for a film permit.

Dawn Zimmer, The Mayor of Hoboken, said the Hoboken Film Commission unanimously voted to deny the permit to the film company “based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents.”

The mayor said there are several reasons why the permits were denied one of which is a local policy that prohibits filming after 11pm.

The mayor also claims that the show will cause an “unacceptable lessening of the quality of life for the local residents and businesses” also increased traffic, crowd noise and other problems associated with a reality show of this nature.
