In years past the Big Game Halftime show sure has had it’s share of performers having issues with body parts popping out. This year [lastfm link_type=""]M.I.A[/lastfm]. who performed with [lastfm link_type=""]Madonna[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=""]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm] decided that giving the camera the bird would be a good idea. If you missed it check it out.
Looks like the delay button was on delay as well, you can see in the video below they tried to blur it out but it was too late.
NBC commented in statement:
“There was a failure in NBC’s delay system. The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing, and we apologize to our fans.”
This, naturally, led to a response from NBC, which reads: “The NFL hired the talent and produced the halftime show. Our system was late to obscure the inappropriate gesture and we apologize to our viewers.”
