When you saw [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Pharrell[/lastfm] on the drums next to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Sheila E[/lastfm] at The Academy Awards you knew you were watching something special! It was his big debut composing the Oscar score with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Hans Zimmer[/lastfm].

We’re used to Pharrell supplying beats for Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, and Gwen Stefani just to name a few… While the awards themselves were a bit more reserved than what we usually want in an award shows (our parents loved it).  The music seemed to have a little bit more life last night.  Pharrell also looked good in that tux!  How do you think he did?
