Jermaine Jones is the 6’8″ “American Idol” contestant and guess who decided to give him a call after years of abandonment? Yup, his dad.
Jermaine’s dad abandoned him 10 years ago. But, as usual, when fame enters the picture lost parents seem to surface.

Sources say that the conversation was cordial, but clearly upset Jermaine.

My own opinion here: If you are classless enough to walk out on your children and never contact them again, you obviously don’t deserve to just waltz back into their lives and presume to pick up where you left off. That’s just me.
