Recording artist, songwriter and producer Complex was born December 5, 1990 in Sacramento, California. At the age of nine he was able to compose his own music and sing while playing the piano. Complex grew up with music in his blood. Though raised by both parents, Complex was inspired by his father Jose who was a professional vocal piano performer and older brother who mastered the sound of composing music. Complex would soon embrace both talents and create the magnificent music in which he creates today.
After twelve years in the music industry, Complex has shared the stage with popular recording artist such as E-40, Brotha Lynch Hung, Philthy Rich, and Keak Da Sneak. He has received music production credit in over fifteen R&b/Hiphop albums. On March 16, 2009 Complex released his E.P “All Or Nothing” and was digitally released worldwide receiving over 5,000 downloads in the first 2 months, and the music video for his lyrical song “Defeat” established over twenty thousands views as of today. Complex is also featured in the film industry for being the original score producer for three films.
Complex is currently producing music for recording artist with in the Pop/R&b/Hiphop genre. He is also working on his first debut album titled, “Better Late than Never” set to be released in the year 2012 under the independent label Million Dollar Entertainment. His first single” Spotlight” has received excellent response by Cash Money Records Senior Vice President of Promotion, Mel Smith which stated, “I love the energy and melodic feeling the song delivers when you push play”.
Complex is planning to release no less than five brand new music videos by the end of year 2012 that will be broadcasted on television. His goal is to have his debut album “Better Late than Never” to receive feature stories in magazines across the U.S. and organize a tour across California. He will continue to produce music for himself and other recording artist. His next music video is set to be released this spring for his club single “Spotlight”.
