Ray J used to date Whitney Houston. And this week he had to attend some event to promote his new tv show. It was held at the at the same hotel that Whitney died in.

Ray J was one of the first people to arrive at the Beverly Hilton Hotel after hearing about Whitney’s death. He was asked about whether or not he had been back to the hotel since and he responded by saying it was  ”too hard” for him to return to the scene.

But yesterday Ray J had a media event at the hotel to promote his new TV show, “The Rickey Smiley Show“. It was an even t he could not miss.

Sources close to Ray J said it was very emotional for him when he pulled up to the hotel, and that it was “very weird” to be back to the place where he had so much heart ache earlier this year.
