Rihanna recently appeared on Oprah and expressed her love for Chris Brown, and now it seems that broken heart may have led to her fake demise. According to Gossip Cop, a fictitious news site in France claimed that Rihanna had “sunk into an [alcohol-induced] coma before succumbing to a heart attack.”

The news spread rapidly last night over social media, but rest-assured Rihanna is still alive and going strong.

Celebrity death hoaxes seem to becoming the new trend. Poor Bill Cosby has been the source of two death pranks this month according to Eonline.

Yesterday a “RIP Bill Cosby” page popped up on Facebook, generating over 275,000 likes, but the 73-year-old entertainer is still very much alive, so there is no reason to grieve for him or Rihanna.
