Maybach Music Group member Gunplay is back behind bars. According to reports, Rick Ross‘ protégé turned himself over to police officials for armed robbery and assault charges.

Gunplay’s arrest was the result of an outstanding warrant issued in May of 2012. The news-making MC, who just this week ironically dropped a new song entitled “Rap Sheet,” is behind bars following a fight with 50 Cent and his G Unit crew at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards. Video of the incident has circulated across the Internet.

No word yet on how long Gunplay will be locked up. But it’s just another incident for the Def Jam artist. In addition to his legal troubles and his scuffle with G Unit, Gunplay made news for having a swastika tatted on his neck. “It’s just my symbol of genocide to the bull—-,” he told website Pigeons & Planes.
