Last month Jennifer Lopez visited Germany and stayed in a fancy hotel. While she was there, TMZ learned a maid allegedly asked Lopez’s assistants if she could get an autograph from the star. She was told no and upon their departure, Lopez allegedly complained to management over the autograph request and the maid lost her job.

Jennifer Lopez is denying she had anything to do with getting the maid fired.

“C’mon thought you knew me better than this,” said Lopez. “Would never get anyone fired over an autograph.”

Lopez’s reps did admit there was an incident with a maid during her stay, but noted it had nothing to do with an autograph. A maid reportedly barged into the singer’s room unannounced and her security immediately intervened to protect Lopez and kicked her out.

Lopez has since learned from hotel management that no one was fired, but the maid has been relocated to a different hotel.

A rep for Lopez continues to defend her. “Jennifer always goes out of her way to meet and greet fans as evidenced by her recent tweet 2 meet engagements backstage, as well as stopping to sign autographs and say hello to hotel staff.”
