This holiday season, 102.5 is reaching out and helping those in need at the Union Gospel Mission of Sacramento.

More than 15,000 meals must be prepared by the Union Gospel Mission for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Not only is The Union Gospel Mission Of Sacramento having their annual Thanksgiving dinner but they passing out 100+ Thanksgiving Food Boxes to families in need on Tuesday, November 20th. They are still in need of the following for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

- Turkey or Ham
– Instant Mashed Potatoes
– Gravy Packets
– Canned Cranberry Sauce
– Canned Vegetables
– Pies & Rolls

The Mission is also looking for extra help to get more Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations (interior and exterior) for the Mission. In addition, they are in need of volunteers to help decorate the Mission for Christmas during the week of November 26th, between the hours of 8am – 4pm.

The Mission is always looking for in-kind donations for our Men’s Shelter and Women’s Clothing Closet. They are open for drop-off 7 days a week, 8 am – 8 pm.
