Chief Keef was sentenced to sixty days in jail Thursday (January 17) for a probation violation. At the sentencing hearing, the rapper struck an emotional chord.

The 17-year-old Keef (real name: Keith Cozart) made a final plea for leniency to the Cook County Juvenile Court Judge Carl Anthony Walker, according to the Chicago Sun Times.

“I am a very good-hearted person,” he said.  “I am sorry for anything that I have done wrong.”

As previously reported by CBS Local, Keef’s ongoing legal problems took a turn for the worse Tuesday when the embattled Chicago rapper was jailed for probation violation.

It was video evidence that sealed Keef’s fate. Last January, Keef , was convicted of unlawful use of a weapon for an incident in which he waved a gun at a Chicago police officers. He was then sentenced to 18 months of probation and ordered to stay away from guns.
