On Monday Rick Ross was the victim of a drive-by shooting. Reports by HuffPost indicate a driver pulled up next to Rick and fired shots in the direction of his 2011 Rolls Royce. To avoid gunfire, Rick sped away and ended up crashing his car into an apartment building.

Although several shots were fired, Rick and his passenger Sateria Moragne-el were not harmed. In addition to being unharmed, the car wasn’t hit by any bullets either.

50 Cent believes the scene was staged and didn’t hold back his opinion on Twitter:

With so much inaccurate gunfire, 50 Cent’s opinion could hold some ground. But if this incident was staged, then it seems the safety of others wasn’t a concern. Rick Ross and his friend may have been unharmed, but several boutiques and cafes lining Las Olas were shot up. Luckily no one was hurt and Rick Ross has since upped his security.
