According to Forbes writer, Zack O’Malley Greenburg, there are 3 big reasons why Jay-Z did not perform with his beautiful wife Beyonce for the big game half time show.  1. Brand Loyalty (Pepsi Sponsor) –  “Shorty like Pepsi, me I’m the Coke man” as stated in one of Jay-Z’s songs…  Pretty sure Pepsi was not having Jay up on the Pepsi stage. 2.  Ladies Night – The band behind Beyonce was all female, who by the way kicked some serious butt!  And lets not forget Beyonce’s special guests, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child who joined her on stage for a short but sweet reunion.   3.  Business Man –  According to O’Malley,  Beyonce did not get paid for her performance (part of her Pepsi contract?).  Jay would not have been paid either, but he did come ahead by gaining, 39,300 Twitter followers.  Not quite as much as Beyonce who gained, 114,000 Twitter followers!  Looks like this power couple is not going anywhere anytime soon.  On Sunday night after The Big Game, Beyonce announced The Mrs Carter Tour.  If she performs anything like she did during the half time, it will be a show not to be missed!
