First she’s country, then she’s alternative, and now Taylor Swift has an interest in rap music?

Yes, that’s what the pop singer is telling InStyle magazine, but for the record, this 23-year-old isn’t about to rap lyrics (though she has in the past).

“Nobody wants to hear me rap, but I’d sing a chorus for someone for sure,” said Taylor to the magazine (quote via EntertainmentWise). “I would sign up for that in a heartbeat.”

Taylor Swift is a huge fan of rap, and admitted she wants to collaborate with Eminem.

“I love hip-hop so much,” said Taylor. “There’s something so honest about it.”

But as much as she admires hip-hop music, she’s sticking with her country and alternative jams for now, and regardless if it’s country, alternative or rap, making music has always been her form of therapy.

“When you’re dealing with something like loneliness or confusion or rejection or frustration, those emotions are so jumbled up in your head,” said Taylor.

“For me, the only way to condense them down into one thing is to write….I first started writing songs because I didn’t really have anyone else to talk to.”

She has plenty to talk about now, and if the Eminem collaboration doesn’t happen, well, at least she rapped with T-Pain back in 2009.

If you didn’t get a chance to hear it then, listen to it now:
