A 9-year-old little boy was told by his school to leave his “My Little Pony” backpack at home because it made him a target of bullying!

Dailymail.co.uk says that the North Carolina boy is a huge fan of My Little Pony but his school has asked him to stop bringing his “pony” themed backpack to school because it was a ‘trigger for bullying’.

They also report that this is happening less than two months after another boy from North Carolina tried to kill himself because he was being bullied at school for liking  My Little Pony. They say that the 11-year-old boy is still in the hospital recovering from brain damage that happened during his suicide attempt.

An online petition has been started to support the boy to be able to take his backpack to school. You can see it HERE
