I feel like Taylor Swift is at war with everyone right now. Where’s her girl squad when she needs them? Alright, here’s the run down of what happened.
You know there’s been drama surrounding Kanye’s song “Famous” for awhile now. In the first verse he says,
“I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that <b-word> famous.”
Taylor said she never gave Kanye permission to say those things about her nor did she know about the lyrics and she called it “misogynistic”. Then she gave that speech at the Grammy’s that was totally geared at Kanye. You can see that here…. (The good stuff starts at the 2 minute mark)
Turns out Kanye did give Taylor a heads up about the lyrics in the song. Well, most of them and Kim Kardashian just released the Kraken on the truth. Kanye recorded the phone conversation he had with Taylor and Kim put it out for the world to see in a series of Snapchat videos. You can hear Taylor referring to the lyrics as a “compliment” in the videos compiled into one big video thanks to TMZ by clicking HERE. The catch is, in the videos you only hear Kanye tell Taylor about the first half of the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex”. He leaves out the part where he calls her a B-word and that’s what she’s claiming to be so upset about. She even expressed her feelings about the whole situation on Twitter last night calling it “character assassination”. You can read that tweet HERE.
