Wells Fargo Fired 5,300 Employees Over $2 Million In Phony Accounts

Wells Fargo was hit with $185 million in fines because 5,300 employees created phony bank accounts worth over $2 million dollars.

Wells Fargo customers had no idea that they were paying ghostly monthly fees for accounts that they never approved of since 2011. CNN is reporting that Wells Fargo employees went as far as creating phony pin numbers and fake email addresses to enroll customers in online banking services.
