Nevada Signs Off On A Plan To Build A New Stadium For The Oakland Raiders

ESPN is reporting that the Nevada Legislature just approved a plan to build an NFL stadium as a home for the Oakland Raiders.

This plan will use $750 million of public money to build the new stadium. The owner of the Oakland Raiders Marc Davis pledged $500 million to help towards building the stadium as well.

Marc Davis said “All parties have worked extremely hard to develop and approve this tremendous stadium project that will serve as a proud new home for the entire Raider Nation.

The NFL owners still need to vote to approve the move of the Raiders by three fourths majority vote. The Raiders cannot apply for relocation until January 15th.
