LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM:US clergyman, civil rights leader and future Nobel Peace Prize winner, Martin Luther KIng speaking 21 September 1964 in London at the press conference. The leader of the Movement against Racial Segregation was launching the British version of his latest book on the civil rights struggle in America, “Why We Can’t Wait”. Martin Luther King was assassinated 04 April 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee. James Earl Ray confessed to shooting King and was sentenced to 99 years in prison.
